The book Penkala Writing Instruments contains a complete review of mechanical pencils, fountain pens and other writing implements manufactured by the Penkala-Edmund Moster & Co Ltd factories between 1906 and 1937 in Zagreb and Berlin, as well as the biography of the ingenious inventor Eduard Slavoljub Penkala.

The book is richly illustrated with original documents and photographs, and all writing implements are reproduced in their actual size. It is an invaluable guide and source of information for every lover and collector of vintage writing instruments from the world over.

The text is presented in parallel in three languages: English, German and Croatian. The book is subject to copyright, and is printed in hardback, in a 23.5 x 32 cm format, on 170 gr matt paper. It contains 152 pages, and consists of the following headings:
